Me

Here we go diving into the deep – none of that piddling around in the shallow waters. I am Bronwen, and my job is Interior Styling. I would love to talk to you about a whole host of things, art, music, antiques, spiritualism blah blah blah, but from the limited research I have done on blogging, it is important to stay on point!

I love aesthetics, the way things look effect me, and when something works well it connects with me. I have always felt this way, from my early years of constantly changing my room around and when I tired of my room, I would move around my mother’s rooms, luckily she always appeared delighted. I was half expecting a telling off, but was welcomed with compliments! So this is where it started, my tireless devotion to interiors. I was never a slave to it, in any way, never had to study or learn any type of formulas that guarantee success. I don’t mean to sound blasé, but I feel it has been a gift that I inherited. Took a long time of wondering what I was really gifted at, as I truly believe we all have a ‘God given talent’, an essential tool to see us good, anyway aesthetics was mine. So, the aim of my blog is??? Actually I don’t rightly know, just felt I should get on and do it, I’m quite an instinctual creature, as maybe some of you may know, and if something feels right, I won’t question it too much. So my introduction is my own home.

My home, my passion, my expression. Bought approximately 4 years ago, it was very dilapidated, Grade 2 Listed, and needed a complete make over, but it still exuded charm and beauty in a kind of distressed way.

Blue shutters hung from old rusty hinges, Wisteria climbed abundantly over the façade and even into the rooms. The Broken pains of glass crying from neglect, my husband and I, we were hooked.
